PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY

Throughout this Payment & Cancellation Policy, Lakeview Management and Marketing LLC DBA Somos Impact Travel will/can be referred to as “We” or “somos.travel” and (your name) will be referred to as “Guest(s)”.

Payment Deposit

To secure your spot on an Impact Adventure a deposit of USD $500 per guest, per tour is due to somos.travel. This deposit goes towards the total cost of the trip. This deposit is fully refundable up to 30 days after the initial payment, after which the deposit is non-refundable. If the deposit/booking is made 120 days or less before departure, half payment is due at the time of booking. If the deposit/booking is made 60 days or less before departure, full payment is due at the time of booking.

Payments

Payment can be paid in full, or a monthly payment plan can be arranged between you and somos.travel. We require that full payment be made 120 days prior to the Impact Adventure departure date.Payment plan agreements are to be made during the onboarding process. If you’re set up on a payment plan, then all final fee deadlines will be determined during your onboarding process.

Cancellation

To cancel your booking, notify somos.travel at team@somos.travel. Cancellation fees, if any, will be determined with reference to the date on which notice of cancellation is received by somos.travel and are expressed as a percentage of the total price paid for the canceled trip, product or service.

Cancellation notice received 120 days or more before departure: Deposit will be held and the remaining payments made to somos.travel will be refunded.

Cancellation notice received 119-90 days before departure: Deposit will be held and you will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellation notice less than 90 days before departure: Deposit will be held and no refund will be issued.

Trip Confirmation

In the event that the Company is unable to provide the Experience due to lack of travelers signing up, you will receive a full refund. Force Majeure In the event that the Company is unable to provide the Experience due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, or pandemic, the Company shall have the right to either reschedule the Experience or provide a full or partial refund of the payments made, excluding the $500 deposit, at its sole discretion.

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
