The trip was well organized and they w”graciously accommodated an early departure! The farm day was educational. The service day painting at the school was good. However, the trip seemed like it tried to blend a little tourism with a little service and wasn’t able to do either justice. We recommend much more focus on service. The surfing day was not worthwhile for anyone who wasn’t a beginner.
We had an amazing adventure and interacting with the culture and people was a wonderful experience! Super impressed with the people and guides helping us on this student adventure. Along with delicious food and very comfortable accommodations. We felt very safe and would definitely do this again!! Thank you!
It was a seriously incredible student trip to Guatemala! The itinerary was well-balanced with culture, adventure, and time to connect. Highlights included exploring Antigua, visiting Lake Atitlán, and learning from local communities. The experience was eye-opening, meaningful, and a great mix of fun and growth. Highly recommend!
My daughter had an amazing time in Guatemala with her school trip through Lakeview Journeys and Vivid Roots. She loved the diverse destinations, the excellent tour guide, and the connections to local communities. She learned a lot and is eager to travel internationally again soon!
This was an amazing trip filled with tons of cool new experiences, beautiful places, lovely hotels, and tons of learning and service opportunities. The tour enabled my students and I to see things we wouldn't have been able to experience without the knowledge and experience of our guides.
